Seeing Sick Hamster

The sick hamster act differently, weirdly or something out of their ordinary behavior, it could a symptom which your hamster is sick. The usual symptom like shaking, pretence weak and tired for a long time, coughing, going weirdly or anything abnormal should alert you for the immediate action. The best council is to go to see a veterinary surgeon.

Part of the panel of warning of a sick hamster: -

* Anus coats droppings.
* Their tail is wet (dangerous)
* Noisy or heavy breath
* Aspect of the spots and the wounds bald people
* Unhealthy eyes


The treatment would have only made by a veterinary surgeon unless you were equipped with with directive proportioned by the veterinary surgeon. Not above against medicine, drugs or antibiotic should be applied unless prescribed by your veterinary surgeon.

Before visits of veterinary surgeon, you are advised to make some procedures of precaution to prevent night more or damages with the hamster or other hamsters like: -

* To separate the sick hamster from other hamsters if you are afraid which the disease/disease could be contagious.
* To clean the camp and if possible sterilized all the parts including/understanding of the toys, the tubes, the bottles and the wheels.
* All the bed linen used and not finished foods should be thrown.
* To maintain the hamster sick in a quiet place started from any noisy environment to keep calms it hamster and to prevent not more the effort
* To provide to the sick hamster enough water
* While waiting, health of monitor of other hamsters for the same symptoms.

The prevention is always better than the treatment. To thus maintain your hamster healthy by providing the care appropriate to their environment and emotion.
